03.Basics of GNSS Positioning (Introduction to GNSS Positioning by Topcon University)

GNSS stalites transmit L1 and L2 carrier wave. The communication between the stalites and the receiver is only one way. The measurement method is like EDM. Distance = Velocity x Time. Location calculation is done by intersection.
